For a Mere $1,000, This Sega Dreamcast Signed by Fred Durst Can Be Yours
There was a period from roughly 1994-2005 when I didn’t really play video games, and I’ve made my feelings about Fred Durst and Limp Bizkit abundantly clear over the years. Which is a long way of telling you that I somehow never knew that Durst was at one point involved in a promotional campaign for the Sega Dreamcast, a console that was discontinued in 2001. And yet, Clrvynt tells me, ’twas so:
Clrvynt also tells me that there are now six Sega Dreamcasts signed by Mr. Durst himself for sale on eBay (all from the same seller, of course). The opening bid is $700, or you can just buy one outright for a cool grand.
I’m not sure how one might go about authenticating Durst’s signature, but then, I’m not sure why you’d even want one of these in the first place. There are a lot of way cooler things you can buy for a thousand dollars. One-hundred-and-ninety copies of Chocolate Starfish to use as kindle in your next bonfire, for example.
