Noise Rock Tour Alert: Whores, Wrong and Bummer

What a time to be a noise rock fan! The genre’s resurgence in the past five years has given rise to so many fantastic bands, which in turn has brought us all sorts of opportunities to rock out live and in the flesh. I love death metal and all, but nothing is quite as cathartic as letting loose to some meaty, grindy, noise madness.

We’ll all have a chance to do just that this coming May and June when Whores, Wrong and Bummer make a loop around the U.S. (plus Toronto).

Everyone knows Whores by now; they’re arguably at the very top of the genre at the moment. You probably know Wrong, too, at least if you’ve been paying attention to MetalSucks. Whether you’re familiar with Bummer yet likely boils down to how deep into the genre you’ve dug — I hadn’t heard of them before this tour announcement — but one would assume that if they’re on tour with Whores and Wrong they’ve gotta be pretty good, and one listen to their music confirms that assumption right quick.
