Video: The Metallica/Lady Gaga Grammy Performance… with James Hetfield’s Mic Turned On

In case you haven’t heard, this past Sunday evening’s Grammy performance by Metallica and Lady Gaga was something of a disaster. Apparently, a stage hand accidentally unplugged James Hetfield’s mic right before the performance began; regardless of the reason, the group had to struggle through the show with Hetfield either sharing the mic with Gaga or not singing at all.

Now some clever fan has “fixed” the team-up by editing in Hetfield’s vocals from a different live performance of the same song, “Moth Into Flame.” And they did a good job… if you didn’t know better, you’d swear this was real.
