Rob Scallon is Back with a Banjo Cover of Cannibal Corpse to Smash Your Face In

We here at the MS mansion love us some Rob Scallon — in fact, we love him so much we even featured him as one of the top 25 most influential people in metal. So it should come as no surprise that we’re highlighting his new content once again on the site. This time Rob’s back with a new banjo cover (we all know how much you guys love those banjo covers!) of Cannibal Corpses seminal track, “Hammer Smashed Face.”

As usual, the video is a romp from start to finish with Rob injecting his personal brand of humor into the mix, but it’s also always awesome to hear iconic metal tracks like this one played with that signature banjo twang. If nothing else, it’s interesting to hear him play pinch harmonics on the instrument.
