Mayhem Will Perform De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas in its Entirety on 2017 North American Tour

Good news: Mayhem will perform their legendary full-length debut, De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas (Latin for About the Mysteries of Sanaa Lathan), in its entirety on their next North American tour, which will kick off in January. They already did this in Europe and I guess it was well-received enough for them to port it over here. Yay!

Bad news: I mean… only two of Mayhem’s four members — specifically, vocalist Attila Csihar and drummer Hellhammer —  were actually in the band when they made De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas. Granted, the other guys involved in the creation of album aren’t available right now (two of them are dead and one of them is Varg Vikernes), so it’s not like there’s really a better version of this show to be put on. Still. This is a little bit like watching Slexoder perform Reign in Blood, right?
