Here’s Fan Footage of the Misfits Reunion from Riot Fest Denver

Having just moved back to New York from Denver, I sadly had to miss the original Misfits line-up reuniting at this year’s Riot Fest Denver (sorry, original line-up with Dave friggin’ Lombardo in tow). While I’m frustrated, I’m not too broken up about it, partly because (as plenty of our commenters noted) there’ll probably be a tour with this line-up in the near future, and partly because everyone else in the world was there, and they took video.

Here’s some fan-shot footage below, provided by Metal Insider. As you can see, Riot Fest did the stage up right, complete with giant jack o’ lanterns and Crimson Ghost-faced amps. Even more importantly, you’ll notice that the band does have a fight or meltdown onstage, and Danzig is happy to scream the classics next to Jerry Only, a man who only a couple of years ago he engaged in a bitter battle over merch rights. Hopefully, this means we’ll get plenty of live Original Misfits shows soon (though maybe, hopefully, no new Original Misfits material).
