The Harp Twins Strike Again With a Cover of Maiden’s “The Trooper”

Looks like everybody’s favorite identical twin harp players are back at it again, this time with a song that every metal fan should love: Iron Maiden’s “The Trooper,” taking a classic metal song and making it sound like it’s straight out of the 1400s.

Despite how well-done this rendition is, I can’t help but wonder what it would have looked like to a passerby as the twins were making this video. How often do you see identical twins wearing matching costumes going off to play their harps in a cemetery? I imagine that without any context it would just look like a couple of talented goth-ish kids rose from the dead to jam out. Because only conformist dead people stay underground after they die.

Anyway, the music is oddly soothing, and we’re looking forward to the Harp Twins next act, which I can only assume will feature more matching costumes and more possibly inappropriate places at which to play their instruments.
