Watch Chino Moreno Perform Inside a Volcano
Last week, we learned that Deftones frontman Chino Moreno would be playing an acoustic set for twenty lucky fans 400 feet underground inside of Iceland’s Thrihnukagigur volcano as part of the Secret Solstice festival. The performance would be historic, because it would mark the first time anyone had ever done such a thing. Those twenty fans each roughly $2,000 dollars for the privilege of being present.
Well, that happened, and now there’s some video of it:
So, basically looks like Chino playing in front of a stone wall.
But don’t worry, the fans still got their money’s worth, ’cause he also played two other songs. So. Yay. History is made.
