I Hope You Get Black Fucking Cancer

As a sucker for beautiful band names like Prostitute Disfigurement and Fuckhammer, I felt compelled to check out “A Sigil of Burning Flesh,” the new song from Black Fucking Cancer. Grim Kim covered this band for us a couple of years ago, but it didn’t make much of an impression on me then… which is to say, I didn’t even remember that I’d heard this band before. See? It really DOES matter what you choose to call your band.

ANYHOO, Decibel, notes that Black Fucking Cancer’s band name is also “the embodiment of their sound,” which is about as accurate and succinct description of their sound as you’re gonna get; their Bandcamp page reads,“Black Fucking Cancer Plays PURE BLACK METAL AURAL HELL,” which is also accurate. Point is, if you want music that sounds the way you imagine a malignant tumor would sound, you will dig BFC.
