Let Ethera Take You on an “Odyssey”

If This Will Destroy You, Buried Inside, and TesseracT combined forces into one Voltron of a band, they might very well sound something like Oklahoma’s Ethera. Like those bands, they’re an expertly-crafted crockpot of contradictions: quiet and loud, ambient and focused, beautiful and hideous, epic and intimate, pensive and punishing. Imagine floating gently on a cloud softer than a million babies’ bottoms… and then suddenly being dropped tens of thousands of feet into a tornado. That’s kinda what Ethera is like.
