“Well of Despair”: Listen to Skeletonwitch’s First Song with New Vocalist Adam Clemans
Skeletonwitch have released “Well of Despair,” the public’s first taste of the band’s new EP — and, perhaps even more critically, the public’s first taste of the band with new vocalist Adam Clemans (Wolvhammer). Clemans takes over for Chance Garnette, who split with the band last year.
So, how does it sound? Well… like Skeletonwitch! Honestly, I know I’m gonna be strung up by toes for this, but as big of a Garnette fan as I am, there’s really no discernible sonic difference with Clemans fronting the band. “Well of Despair” kicks ass in a major way. Out with the old, in with the new, say I.
Check out “Well of Despair” below. The band’s new EP should be out this summer on Prosthetic.
Clemans will make his live debut with the band on The Decibel Magazine tour (also featuring Abbath, High on Fire, and Tribulation), which kicks off next month. Get dates here.
