MetalSucks Faves Slugdge Sign to Willowtip!

Break out the champagne and get your circle jerk hand ready, it’s time to celebrate: after almost two years of MetalSucks practically begging for someone to sign the UK’s Slugdge (who made #4 on my 2015 year-end list and #5 on Dave Mustein’s 2013 year-end list), someone has done just that: specifically, Willowtip, who will re-release the band’s first three albums (Born of Slime, Gastronomicon, and Dim and Slimeridden Kingdoms) this summer, followed by the band’s new record, which is being written now. 

This is spectacular news; Slugdge fucking rule, and, as the band themselves point out in a statement, Willowtip “will enable us to get our music out there to more fans.” Glory, glory, hallelujah! Spread the Slugdge gospel everywhere you can.
