Did you know that Sunn O))) loved John Coltrane? I mean who doesn’t love John Coltrane, but did you know they even wrote a song about his wife, the briskly paced, sixteen-minute long “Alice”?

Personally, I did not know this until I read it on Metal Injection…

…but presumably whomever made this mash-up of Sunn O))) and Coltrane did know it, and was inspired by it. And I’m glad they were, because this is honestly the first time I’ve ever heard Sunn O))) be interesting. Usually, their music is like being in a coma. Now it’s more like watching an experimental film.
