AS I LAY DYING LAUNCH TOTALLY USELESS MEDIA PLAYER

Blabbermouth reports that Christian metalcore act As I Lay Dying have launched a media player for their highly anticipated new album, An Ocean Between Us. What Blabbermouth does not report is the media player only plays one song, “Within Destruction,” which has been on the band’s MySpace page for a couple of weeks already. So, uh, the media player is basically a total waste of precious promotional dollars.

An Ocean Between Us – the title apparently refers to the divide between these Christians and all the other money-grubbing secular bands (’cause last time we checked God Forbid and Mastodon were just rolling in dough) – comes out next month on Metal Blade. It was produced by Adam D., presumably because Jason Suecof wasn’t available.
