This Clip of Devin Townsend’s Ziltoid Musical is Batshit Insane

This past April Devin Townsend performed a full-fledged Ziltoid MUSICAL at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Unsurprisingly, the production was INSANE: massive video screens, giant puppets, dancers and backup singers performed behind Devin and the Devin Townsend Project band he’s been playing with for years.

Devin’s released a full performance clip of “March of the Poozers” from that show, and it’s just as batshit insane as promised. Not to be lost in all the hooplah, of course, is the performance of Devy himself. Devin’s as entertaining a frontman as there is in all of metal; he doesn’t need all that hullabaloo of a full-on stage production to make his shows engaging, although all that stuff certainly doesn’t hurt! This clip is insanely fun to watch.
