Belphegor’s “Black Winged Torment” Is Our NSFW Delight

Belphegor have always ruled, because they don’t shy away from the basics. Even after Helmuth almost died, the band still continues to create music — along with accompanying art and videos — that are all about death, blood, filth, bondage, Satan, sex, and all the other things that make metal great.

The new Belphegor video for “Black Winged Torment” from their awesome 2014 release Conjuring The Dead is a perfect example of just that. It’s full of psychedelic imagery, brutish psychos, mostly-naked women all tied up in straps, and blood goddesses. It’s obvious watching it that the style is informed by recent output from Watain and Behemoth, but it works well with Belphegor’s unrepentant obsession with all things insane and metal. God speed, you insane bastards.
