Five Finger Death Punch’s Zoltan Bathory Endorses Fellow Nutbar Donald Trump
Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory is pretty open about his nutty and generally misinformed political beliefs. So it should be no surprise that in the upcoming presidential race, Bathory is endorsing the king of the Nutty and Generally Misinformed, Donald Trump.
Bathory recently posted a number of pro-Trump tweets including this one:
If u doubt that @realDonaldTrump ‘s heart is in the right place. U need 2 see this interview from 1988! https://t.co/lTdENSAKcK#Consistent
— Zoltan Bathory (@ZoltanBathory) September 12, 2015
…in which Trump mentions he’d probably never run for President–“I don’t think I really have the inclination to do it”–though he would if things got so bad that the country needed him.
Bathory goes on:
Watching the media taking shots at @realDonaldTrump They still don’t get it ???? Fighters love 2 fight. More U kick them the stronger they get.

Nothing’s worse than the ‘Laughing until I’m crying’ emoji. Seriously, dude.
And of course, the requisite Communist China shot:
@realDonaldTrump is right. Communist China is giving us lessons in capitalism while we are becoming more communist than they are #theirony

I’m not sure Zoltan Bathory is the person from whom we should be hearing anti-Communist China rants. Not to insinuate that Bathory is somehow a Communist in disguise or anything — we write putz lists, not blacklists — but I’m just not sure he’s the sharp political mind who would fully understand the history behind a country like China, or its current policies with America, or how exactly capitalism and communism work. Plus, anyone who uses the hashtag “#theirony” is just kind of infuriating.
More so, Bathory doesn’t comment on Trump’s repeated racist comments or the fact that he’s going to sink a ton of America’s money into a wall along the southern border that’s basically a giant pacifier for right-wing isolationists. Honestly, it seems like Zoltan’s a successful dude who sees another successful dude running for president and thinks, “Finally, an America where a rich dude is boss!”
Anyway, I doubt anyone’s really surprised by this endorsement. We’ll see if Trump accepts Bathory’s public approval, or if he describes him as “some dreadlocked bozo” or something along those lines.
