To celebrate, the D.C. Swedecore pioneers will be embarking on a brief twentieth anniversary tour — with a recently reunited Dead to Fall in support — that will take them to nine U.S. cities. And to celebrate THAT, MetalSucks has teamed up with the band to offer the ultimate Darkest Hour “Tour Survival Kit” sweepstakes! The grand prize features an assortment of items that the members of DH need to survive:
- Bundle of Dark Horse Comics from John Henry
- Box of S.I.T. strings from Mike Schleibaum

To enter, we’re asking fans to submit their favorite Darkest Hour memory from the past twenty years. Were you obsessed with Deliver Us when it came out? Fondly remember (or, more aptly, don’t remember) that time you passed around a bottle of Jack Daniels with Schleibaum and Lonestar and killed it in five minutes flat? Or that time you got kicked out of a hotel party and Lonestar kept fucking with the elevator when the cops were chasing us out?
