New Slayer Song! New Slayer Song!
Just in time for their upcoming free Converse Rubber Tracks show, Slayer have dropped a new track titled “When The Stillness Comes.” It’s a slow, burly song, more in vein with the band’s latest material, but it still has their patented murderous menace. Listen below.
This is the second track off of Slayer’s upcoming 11th album, the first being “Implode”, which has issues (“Stillness” is better, trust me). As part of Record Store Day this Saturday, Slayer will be releasing 5,000 of vinyl copies of “When The Stillness Comes”, with a live performance of “Black Magic” on Side B.
Listen below. Slayer’s Nuclear Blast debut will be released this year, and will feature some music — but not playing — by late guitarist Jeff Hanneman.
