Video: Royal Thunder Perform Acoustic Rendition of “Time Machine” for Intimate Record Release Celebration
Last Thursday, April 2, a small group of industry professionals (and I do mean “small” — there might have been thirty people there) were invited to a record release celebration for Royal Thunder’s ridiculously good new album, Crooked Doors. Included in that little get-together was a three-song acoustic set from the band, during which they performed the new songs “Glow,” “One Day,” and, finally, “Time Machine.” The performance was really amazing, not least of all because it really allowed frontwoman Mlny Parsonz to display her pipes, which put 99% of all other modern rock singers to shame. Her talent is truly immeasurable.
Metal Injection captured footage of the band performing “Time Machine” at the very special event, which you can check out below. Did I mention that Parsonz is pretty much the best singer, like, ever?
Crooked Doors is out now on Relapse. Check out our review of the album here.
