Original story follows below.
Slipknot took Korn and King 810 out on the road this past fall on The Prepare for Hell Tour surrounding the release of their new album .5 The Gray Chapter. Is another equally ’00s-tastic leg of that tour in the works?
It would appear so: The PRP picked up on a Ticketmaster link for an April 30th date in New Orleans Slipknot and Hatebreed, and did a little sleuthing to determine that both bands are playing two of the same festivals around that time as well. And seeing as the fall run skipped over large portions of the U.S., it seems pretty likely that Slipknot would have a second go at it, and Hatebreed make perfect sense as a touring partner — the bands share a lot of the same fanbase, and they surely know each other quite well from plenty of touring in the past.
Expect the tour to be announced soon. In the meantime, here’s the official video for “The Devil in I,” released in September.
