In Flames and All That Remains and Wovenwar on Tour
Terrific news: Wovenwar are doing another U.S. tour! And, as a bonus, they’re going on relatively early and playing a relatively short set, so you can save some money on the babysitter’s hourly fees.
The band will be opening on In Flames’ upcoming headlining tour, which will also feature direct support from All That Remains. In Flames live can be a magical experience, but the last time I saw them, the oldest song in their setlist was from Come Clarity, so I can’t in good conscience recommend that anyone suffer through All That Remains’ set to see the Swedes. All That Remains, of course, specialize in being lousy live. Seeing them live was what turned me off of them after This Darkened Heart! I still really enjoy that album, but if I wanted to see a bunch of statues and a dude singing off-key, I’d take a mirror to the museum.
