SLEEPING GIANT NEED TO TAKE A DIRT NAP

Jesus FUCKING Christ. This band is awful, awful, AWFUL. Oh, make it stop. What did I do to deserve this shit? Crappy rap metal in generic metalcore’s clothing (“Whoremonger”) and deathcore vocals so bad it actually sounds like someone having diarrhea pour out of their mouth (“Blame it on the Holy Rollers”) – yet they have the balls to classify themselves as “southern rock.” And, oh yeah – they’re Christian (that Sleeping Giant ain’t jolly and green – check out the quote on their MySpace page: “For if he wakes, he will shake the world.”), and their album is called Dread Champions of the Last Days. And when I found out the singer’s name was Thom Green, I just about shit myself until I realized I was actually thinking of Tom Green.

“You can let it all go and walk into the light,” vocalist Green promises on “Whoremonger.” You first, dude.
