Break(down)ing The Law: Kreator, Arch Enemy Announce Tour-Only 7″
In a couple weeks, Kreator heads out on a big tour with Arch Enemy, and it’ll probably be awesome. I mean, not only is Kreator awesome and Arch Enemy solid/attractive, but you can tell that hearts and minds will be invested in each stop of the tour by both the audience and the talent. How? Well, it’s just a small token, but it speaks pretty loudly: a split 7″ with a bonus track from each band’s latest album sold tour-only on fancy colored vinyl. That’s a tough thing to pull together. (Don’t be fooled by Decibel’s magnificent flexi series.)
But pulled together it is, and 500 of which shall be available at each US show (Arch Enemy headlines) and Europe show (Kreator headlines). Fans intense enough to attend the shows probably have heard the jams via import or on the internet — Kreator’s “Iron Destiny” and Arch Enemy’s cover of “Breaking The Law,” that is — but not for keeps on a slick red vinyl (transparent red in US; dark red in EU) jacketed by tasty cover art (above).
