IF A SURPRISE SHOW IS ANNOUNCED IN AN E-MAIL, IS IT STILL A SURPRISE?
Over the weekend, Metal Sucks received the following e-mail from the Velvet Revolver camp:
“Be one of the first people to buy the new CD from Velvet Revolver ‘LIBERTAD’ coming out Tuesday July 3rd and get 1 ticket to see them perform at the Whisky on Sunset, Thursday July 5th.”
Surprise shows, of course, are notoriously not true-blue surprises and are usually announced a few hours or maybe even a day in advance – but isn’t this pushing it a little?
