New Sleep Song Offers “Clarity”

It’s been ten years since Sleep released any new music and another ten (that would be twenty total, you nincompoop) since they wrote any new music… so fans should be doing backflips over “Clarity,” the newly-released opus from the lords of stoner doom. And while there’s some humor to the fact that the makers of Dopesmoker have now named a song “clarity,” the title is actually quite apt: as Lars Gotrich notes for NPR, “it’s the band’s cleanest-sounding recording” to date.
