Second Annual Housecore Horror Film & Music Festival to Feature Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, Satyricon, Eyehategod, Cattle Decapitation, and More
Killer news (and we do mean KILLER): last year’s inaugural Housecore Horror Film & Music Festival, the four-day event founded by Phil Anselmo and MetalSucks’ own Corey Mitchell, was a major success… and, consequently, it’s coming back this year! The second annual edition of the fest will take place from October 23-26, once again in Austin, Texas. Phil and Corey have now unveiled the initial line-up for this year, and, once again, it’s just, like, completely insane. Check it out:

And, like we said, that’s just the INITIAL line-up. We’ve had a peek at the list of some of the other artists who will be appearing at the fest, and take our word for it: the bill only gets sicker from here.
But wait! There’s more! Lamb of God vocalist Randy Blythe will be on hand all weekend, and will not only share stories from his upcoming book in-between musical acts, but will also participate in a Q&A following a special screening of the documentary As the Palaces Burn! AND Blythe will be a presenter at the Rotscars, the fest’s special film awards, which will feature music from Author & Punisher.

The film portion of the festival will include a celebration of one the greatest horror films ever made, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original — not that Michael Bay shit with Jessica Biel), which turns forty this year. Attending the event will be ALL of the living members of the film’s main cast, including:

The cast will be on hand all weekend to participate on panels and Q&As about the Massacre, plus, of course, autograph sessions and meet and greets.
