Kerry King Turns Fifty Today

Metal Insider has pointed out that today is Kerry King’s fiftieth birthday. At this point, maybe I shouldn’t be so weirded out by the thought of the metal stars of my youth getting to the half-a-century mark, given that James Hetfield, Axl Rose, Dave Mustaine and Scott Ian already hit the big 5-0. But you gotta keep in mind that it seems like just yesterday that Kerry King had hair. Time moves so fast… blink, and Tom Araya will be dead and King will have already hired his replacement.

ANYWAY, happy birthday, Mr. King! Metal Insider celebrated the occasion with two of their favorite King-penned Slayer songs, but they didn’t include my favorite one, so I’m just gonna leave it here.
