Exclusive Track Premiere: “Clouded Panes” by Son of Aurelius

Funny you should ask, Luke! Son of Aurelius, first championed by MetalSucks back in 2010, are very much still alive — and they’ve completed a new album! It’s called Under a Western Sun, it’s a completely DIY release (no crowd funding, no record label, no producer), and it’s coming out June 3! It’s a VERY different beast from the band’s debut, The Farthest Reaches, putting greater emphasis on melody and the band’s proggy side. But it’s still a very powerful beast — and one we’re confident all SoA fans will dig.

MetalSucks is proud to debut the first single from Under a Western Sun, “Clouded Panes.”  It’s just a small taste of the rich listening experience that is Under a Western Sun, and if you haven’t loved Son of Aurelius in the past, we strongly recommend you give it a listen — like we said, this band’s sound has evolved in a big, big way.
