This Unofficial Video for Mastodon’s “Bedazzled Fingernails” is Amazing

Did someone forget to send us a press release announcing “Awesome Unofficial Fan-Made Metal Video Month”? First there was Gavin Shapiro’s (admittedly very brief, but also very funny) video for Gojira’s “Flying Whales”… then this dude Curtis Hein made a video for Cluch’s “The Wolfman Kindly Requests…” that was so good the band decided to include it on the deluxe edition of Earth Rocker… and now artist (and drummer for decidedly non-metal band The Other Side of Morning) Thomas J. Yagodinski has made this incredible stop-motion animation video for Mastodon’s “Bedazzled Fingernails,” from 2011’s The Hunter:

I can’t even imagine how much work went into that… but it was well worth it. Bravo, Mr. Yagodinski. Bra-fuckin’-vo!
