DragonForce and Trivium’s Matt Heafy are “Defenders”
Metal Hammer has released a demo of a new DragonForce song, “Defenders,” which features Matt Heafy (I assume on guitar; MH doesn’t specify, but I don’t hear his vocals anywhere). But there’s nothing particularly Heafy-esque about the song. Really, if no one told me that Heafy was involved, I’d never know it. This just sounds like every other DragonForce song to me. You probably already know if you think that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

“Defenders” will appear on DragonForce’s Maximum Overload, which comes out August 19 on Metal Blade. Here’s the cover art:
