…And Now Here’s an Update on Agoraphobic Nosebleed’s Upcoming Albums
Because you can never have too much Scott Hull-related news in one day: while Pig Destroyer are apparently hoping to get a new album out this year, work continues on the new releases from Agoraphobic Nosebleed. And, no, that pluralization of the word “release” wasn’t a typo — the band is, indeed, supposed to have multiple albums in the pipeline. As they first announced just about a year ago, “the quartet will be giving zero fucks and releasing four independent full length albums, each in a completely different style and direction, representing the tastes and influences of each member of the band. ”
Now two of the group’s four members have provided some more updates via Facebook. First, on December 19, co-vocalist Kat Katz (ex-Salome) posted this simple-but-sweet message…
…and then, a day later, co-vocalist Richard Johnson (also of Drugs of Faith fame) elaborated:
So it sounds like we still have a ways to go until these bad boys are ready, and I know I should be focused on just shutting up and waiting patiently, but now that Johnson has offered some descriptions of the various albums, I’m just, like, salivating all over my keyboard. Deep breaths, Axl, deep breaths…
Major thanks to reader Mike L. for bringing this to our attention!
