And Now Here’s Pro-Shot Video Footage of the Metallica Show in Antarctica
In case this morning’s photographs from the show didn’t satisfy your Metallica-in-Antarctica yearnings, the live stream has now shown up on online. It is as advertised.
The most interesting aspect about this, honestly, is the fact that the band did the show with no amps, which is why everyone in the audience is wearing those big, clunky headphones (which, I suspect, rendered headbanging and/or moshing pretty much impossible). I don’t know if that in any way explains why the guitar part in-between the first and second verse of “For Whom the Bell Tolls” sounds like someone sharting or not, but either way it sure is unusual!
