Video: Joey Jordison’s Scar the Martyr Plays NYC for the First Time
Scar the Martyr, the new project founded by Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and featuring guitarists Jed Simon (ex-Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (ex-Darkest Hour), played The Studio at Webster Hall in NYC this past weekend. I wasn’t there, and, in all likelihood, neither were you! Luckily there’s video of the gig we can watch. Let’s share this special experience together now, shall we? And I’ll meet you back here after to discuss? Cool? Cool. Here we go:
Holy shit, that was awful. Just… horrible. Like, it will probably crack the top five of the Billboard charts bad. So, I mean… good for Jed Simon and Kris Norris’ landlords, I guess? Not that my opinion counts for shit, but interest in this band just dropped to nil. Oh well. New Slipknot record soon maybe. You call me when that happens!!!
