Here’s the First Song from Joey Jordison’s Scar the Martyr
Scar the Martyr, the new project from Slipknot’s Joey Jordison that also features former Strapping Young Lad guitarist Jed Simon, former Darkest Hour guitarist Kris Norris, former Nine Inch Nails/Marilyn Manson keyboardist Chris Vrenna, and vocalist Henry Derek, have released their first single. It’s called “Blood Host” and you can stream it below…
…although, fair warning… it’s rrrrreeeaaaaalllllyyyy bad. Like, really, really bad. Basically, it sounds like an Ozzfest second stage nu-metal band. The Murderdolls were better than this. THE FREAKIN’ MURDERDOLLS! I mean… ugh.
Scar the Martyr’s debut album will be released on Roadrunner, but we still don’t know when. And honestly, unless the next song they release is a billion times better than this one, I think my interest in this project is now pretty much dead. Oh well.
