As I Lay Dying Bandmates Release Statement Regarding Arrest of Tim Lambesis

Tim Lambesis’ bandmates in As I Lay Dying — drummer Jordan Mancino, guitarist Nick Hipa, guitarist Phil Sgrosso, and bassist/clean vocalist Josh Gilbert —  have released the following statement regarding Lambesis’ arrest yesterday:

Lambesis is currently being held without bail at the Vista Detention Center in Vista, CA; his arraignment is scheduled for tomorrow, May 9, at 1:30 pm PDT at the North Division Court.

I have yet to hear anyone in the metal community express anything other than shock at the accusations. I think now is a good time to remember that Lambesis hasn’t been found guilty of anything yet. There’ll be plenty of time to talk smack about him if he’s convicted; for now we should all resist any urge to pretend that we know anything. ‘Cause we ain’t got a clue.
