Joey Jordison and Jed Simon Are Working On a New Project Together

With a new Slipknot album still nowhere on the horizon and who knows/who cares what’s going on with the Murderdolls, it looks as though Joey Jordison is finding other ways to keep busy. The diminutive drummer recently posted the following message on his Facebook page…

The dude playing guitar in the photo on the bottom right ought to look familiar: it’s Jed Simon, formerly of Strapping Young Lad. I can’t identify any of the other  guys, though.

But knowing that Jordison and Simon are working on something together is enough to pique my interest. I mean, it certainly seems highly unlikely that the results would sound anything like Muderdolls. I guess there’s nothing to do now but wait and see how it sounds…
