A “Super New Song” From Royal Thunder

South by South Death is just 7 days away! Let’s celebrate with a brand new Royal Thunder song.

Royal Thunder are perrenial road dogs; they just completed a tour with Enslaved and went straight into another run with one of that tour’s other supporting bands, Ancient VVisdom. After that wraps up they’re heading straight down to Texas for SXSW then they’re taking a very short break before joining The Dillinger Escape Plan and The Faceless.

So it makes sense that the ‘Thunder would wanna spice up the repetitive grind of the road by whipping out a new song. The new jam they played in Columbus, OH on March 1st is so new that it doesn’t even have a name yet; Mlny Parsonz introduced it as “Super New Song.” It’s hard to tell whether this song is fully worked out yet (no vocals until several minutes in), but even if it’s still a work in progress it’s pretty groovin’. Here’s to hoping they play it South by South Death.
