SOUNDGARDEN COULD HAVE STAYED AWAY A LITTLE LONGER

Soundgarden have released a new song, “Been Away Too Long,” and, SCORE!, it does not sound like Soundgarden at all. (For the cheap seats: that was sarcasm.) Which I guess is to be expected, given that the band hasn’t made anything in like a billion years. And it’s not as though it’s the worst song ever or anything — actually, I think it’s… fine. But if you think anyone would give a crap about this if it wasn’t Soundgarden you’re living in Fantasy Land, and please say hello to the Easter Bunny for me while you’re there.
