The great dubstep explosion of 2011/2012 has already peaked IMO, not that anyone here at the Mansion is complaining. So what’s next? Aside from Vest Metal, of course, which primarily interests the 25+ crowd.

MS reader Tony M. thinks it’s metallified Electronic Dance Music. I’m not gonna be one to disagree with Tony simply because I don’t know shit about EDM, but this video by SwanTheWhitePig has got 30,000+ views and quickly climbing. And why not? I could definitely see stuff like this becoming the next manifestation of OG dubstep sceneniks who feel betrayed now that their former favorite artists have all sold out and gotten super-popular and are therefore now uncool to like.

So, yeah. That happened.
