Anciients Reveal First U.S. Tour in Eight Years
Fresh off their second JUNO Award win for Metal/Hard Music Album of the Year, Canadian progressive metal act Anciients announced that they’re crossing the border for a run of dates throughout the U.S. for the first time in nearly a decade.
Set to kick off on August 27 in Seattle and coming to a close in Bellingham, Washington, the tour will make more than 20 stops in some key areas, including Atlanta, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Coming along for the ride will be openers and supporters Dawn of Ouroboros, Armed for Apocalypse, Nott, and Exist — though each band will only be on the bill during certain dates.
Speaking of the announcement, frontman Kenny Cook said he and his bandmates were excited to visit the U.S. again.
“It’s been a long time coming, which makes it that much more special to announce that we will finally be returning to the USA for a run of shows this summer/fall. We’ve got a handful of killer bands joining us on select dates, to get us to and from the ProgPower fest in Atlanta. We look forward seeing our American fans out on the road!”
