Sleep Token Drop Final Single “Damocles” Ahead of New Album
Sleep Token is back with another sombre release titled “Damocles” and if you weren’t a fan of the last track “Caramel”, you’re liable to not like this one either. Taken from their forthcoming album, Even In Arcadia, “Damocles” is the third and final single to drop before the whole thing comes out on May 9.
So far, the band has shared two very melancholic releases from the album, with this new single spending half of its runtime playing out like a pop track. With this being the second single to eschew any semblance of the band’s heavier side for another piano-driven, introspective release, it’s easy to speculate that this new record is going to be softer and more conventional alt-rock than their last offering. We won’t know until the whole thing comes out in two weeks.
