Employed To Serve Join Forces with Jesse Leach to Ask “Whose Side Are You On” in New Single

British metalcore band Employed to Serve are likely enjoying one hell of a day today, as their new album Fallen Star was released via Spinefarm. With the music now in the hands of the masses, they dropped a new single from that album, “Whose Side Are You On?” featuring Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach.

As a track, it’s chock full of bombastic rhythms, killer riffs, and vocals dripping with piss and vinegar. It’s hard to listen to and not start banging your head a bit. Speaking of the track, vocalist Justine Jones said it’s all about the cathartic nature of anger.

“’Whose Side Are You On?’ is a reminder that sometimes it’s healthy to get angry, particularly when you find out someone who you thought had your back would rather see you fail. Anger can give you the drive to make a change and strive to do what’s better for your future.”

As for the collaboration with Leach, backing vocalist and guitarist Sammy Urwin said getting Leach on the track was a dream come true for the band.

“We were over the moon when Jesse Leach agreed to guest on our track. We’ve all been fans of Killswitch Engage for years, so it was incredible to work with him. He was perfect for this song, as musically it sits in the Killswitch style of metal, and Jesse has always been such a positive force in the Metal community.”
