Dozer to Release Double Album of Rarities and B-Sides, U.S. Summer Tour Announced
When it comes to stoner rock in the Scandinavian country of Sweden, few bands have as much longevity as the mighty Dozer. Having spent three decades pumping out heavy, yet fuzzy riffs and driving rhythms, they’ve earned their place in the pantheon of kick ass European stoner metal acts. So it only makes sense that after all these years, they’d release a special double album celebrating the songs that never got their due.
Titled Rewind to Return: Rarities, Singles and B-Sides, this collection of unreleased songs and other content from throughout the years. Set to release on August 1 via Blues Funeral Recordings, the album is dropping in celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary.
To that end, the band released their new track “Rings Of Saturn,” which will be featured on Rewind to Return. And as you can tell right from the get go, it’s fuzzy and heavy, just the way we like our European stoner metal.
In addition to the album announcement, the band revealed plans to tour the U.S. this August. The tour will start on August 7 in Las Vegas and come to a close on August 17 in Seattle. You can find the full list of dates below.
