Corpus Offal Drop Extensive U.S. Tour Dates
Last month, Texas death metal outfit Cerebral Rot parted ways and resurrected into a brand new project, Corpus Offal: a new thrash metal band, consisting of ex-Cerebral Rot and Bell Witch and Fetid band members.
Since then, Corpus Offal has this week announced an extensive U.S. tour, starting Saturday, April 26 in Houston, Texas. The tour will coincide with the release of the band’s self-titled debut LP, with the run coming to a close on May 31 in Austin, Texas. Along the way, they’ll hit venues in major locations like Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
Out now via 20 Buck Spin, Corpus Offal is an obliterating seven-track record introducing metal lovers to a fresh new sound from a selection of seasoned musicians. The LP was recorded at Jackpot! And engineered by Billy Anderson (Bell Witch, Sleep, Melvins). It also sees the band work with Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound for its master, and is completed with artwork by Karina Monzon and layout by Dan Fried.
Following the death of Cerebral Rot, Corpus Offal consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Ian Schwab, Clyle Lindstrom (guitar), Jason Sachs (bass) and Jesse Shreibman (drummer).
