Fallujah’s Music Video for “Labyrinth of Stone” is All Fast Cars, Cash Money, and Face Tattoos
With their new album Xenotaph set for release this June, progressive tech death metal outfit Fallujah have dropped another badass and sonically interesting tune titled “Labyrinth of Stone” and its accompanying music video. And while the title of that song would make move people envision a nerdy song about explorers or something, the video is anything but.
Instead, you’ve got the band playing on the whole “wealth” angle you see in modern music videos in other genres. The band is seen standing in front of Ferraris, tossing wads of money in the air, and at times just counting those wads of cash. It’s all those familiar tropes.
Speaking on the new single, guitarist Scott Carstairs talked it up to get fans hyped, though he admitted the concept was ‘ridiculous’.
“‘Labyrinth of Stone’ is nearly six minutes of pure, mind-bending tech death and prog. From start to finish, this track will tear your face off. We guarantee you’ve never heard Fallujah like this before. Prepare your ear holes and eyeballs for one of the most ridiculous tracks and music videos we’ve ever produced.”
Xenotaph will be released on June 13 via Nuclear Blast Records, but you can pre-order your copy today.
