Coffin Feeder Enlist Chimaira’s Mark Hunter for Their New Single “Plain Zero”

You may be too young to realize this, but action movies from the 80s and 90s fuckin’ rule. They were so badass and quotable that some bands make them their entire schtick. Such is the case for Belgian deathcore outfit Coffin Feeder, whose new single “Plain Zero” apparently draws on the iconic movie The Running Man and features a guest spot by Chimaira’s Mark Hunter.

The track is the third single off the band’s forthcoming album Big Trouble, due to be released on April 25 via Listenable Records. A quick glance at the album’s tracklist and you’ll see references to Predator, They Live, and Commando, to name a few. I mean, the album’s cover art also references those movies, as well as G.I. Joe, Big Trouble in Little China, and Gremlins.

As for the track itself, it’s balls to the all aggression from start to finish. Yes, it’s chock full of references, but this shit goes hard. Definitely worth checking out, man.

Big Trouble will be released on April 25 via Listenable Records, but you can pre-order your copy today.
