A Killer’s Confession’s Drummer Quit During Their Tour, Ex-Mushroomhead Drummer Joins

0

Murphy’s Law is in full force for alternative metal outfit A Killer’s Confession and their ongoing tour. In addition to all the struggles that come with touring, they’ve had vehicle problems and their drummer Kegan King fucked off mid-tour, forcing the band to find a replacement in the form of ex-Mushroomhead percussionist Daniel Fox.

News of the internal shakeup came about from a post on social media, in which the band said King left the band “on his terms”. This was after their van broke down and they had to find a temporary replacement. Talk about a pain in the ass.

“ITS BEEN A CRAZY 24 hours. Our van broke down and may not be able to get fixed but the show must go on!!! We have temporary transportation and we are moving forward with the tour! That being said Kegan has decided that he no longer wants to tour with us. He decided to leave on his terms mid tour. Please welcome Daniel Fox on drums for AKC for the rest of the tour and here forward. LETS GO!!!!! AKC IS A MACHINE!! Please welcome Danny!!!!”

Having a former Mushroomhead member join A Killer’s Confession isn’t a new phenomenon, by the way. The band’s frontman is ex-Mushroomhead vocalist Waylon Reavis, while the band also features Jason “J Mann” Popson and Rick “St1tch” Thomas — both former Mushroomhead members in their own right.

It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out for the rest of their tour with VentanA and Aeternum, which doesn’t have too much longer to go, with just nine dates left. You can find the full list of dates below.
