Bernie Sanders Crashes Coachella, Calls for Justice as Crowd Boos Trump

I’m pretty sure none of us think of Coachella as the kind of festival that offers a lot in the rock or punk or metal world. It’s not really meant for that—we all know it’s more for the show-offs. At this year’s fest, we’ve got some options in The Original Misfits, Speed, Circle Jerks, Green Day, Jimmy Eat World, Amyl and the Sniffers, and The Prodigy. The real bad ass shit to focus on though is what Bernie Sanders did last night. Not only did he basically crash Coachella, but he essentially crashed and bashed everything about our current president while calling for justice in the same breath.

Obviously, the crowd booed when our current president’s name came up, and Bernie expressed a similar sentiment. Just watch the video below, courtesy. I know it doesn’t feature any of the bands I mentioned above, but last night was low-key about Bernie before he introduced the singer Clairo.

Long live Bernie, man. He’s one of our last hopes.
