Cryptopsy Nuked Their Instagram, So They Must Be Teasing New Music… Right?

Don’t look now, but it seems like there might be some new music from Canadian death metal outfit Cryptopsy coming in the future. I mean, that’s mostly speculation at this point, but the band completely erased their Instagram profile and left a single teaser up on the page. It’s not clear what they’re teasing, but it’s gotta be new music… Right?

Remember, they signed with Season of Mist last year, so they’ve got a chance to release their full-length debut on the label. They’d already dropped the The Book Of Suffering: Tome I and II EPs, but a brand new release would just hit different.

Things have been going pretty well for Cryptopsy, having released As Gomorrah Burns back in 2023 and winning a Juno Award as a result. Since joining Season Of Mist, they’ve been pretty busy touring and whatnot, but if there was ever a time to announce new tunes, this would be it.

Only time will tell at this point.
